From Highland Park on Orkney, in Scotland’s Highland whisky region, this 13-year old single malt was finished in a first-fill Vin Santo barrique and bottled at cask strength. The label notes honeyed malt, gentle heather smoke, dried fruit and candied citrus on the nose. Baked apple, pear and apricot meet orange blossom, toffee, hazelnut and ginger on the palate, followed by a long, warming finish with honeycomb, soft oak spice and a lingering wisp of smoke.
