VINA FALERNIA GRAN RESERVA PINOT NOIR 750ML

Located in the Elqui Valley between La Serena and Vicuña, 520 km (323 miles) to the North of Santiago and it is at present Chile´s northern most winery estate. Chile is isolated geographically, with the long and high ridge of the grandiose Andes Mountain Range acting as a barrier to the East, and the deep and immense Pacific Ocean to the West. The vast Atacama Desert to the North and a long chain on rocky islands reaching south to the Antarctic, complete the protective ring.

Tasting Notes:
This wine is a great example of Pinot Noir in an Old World Style, but made with New World fruit. The wine has a delicate aroma of black cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with well integrated French oak. Medium bodied wine with elegant and silky tannins on the palate.

Pairing:
Pairs well with grilled river fish, spiced duck, light pizza or even most roasted vegetable dishes. Very versatile. Serve at 16°C (61°F).
