Bright and intense ruby red colour. Complex aroma with marked tones of cherry, red berries and light hints of tea, rose and tobacco, becoming more and more evident as time goes by. Full-bodied mouth with balanced never excessive alcohol and smooth tannins.

The Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a full-scented wine featuring a wide range of notes. The evident fruity character in the nose is well-supported by its firm texture and good acidity in the mouth, showing great balance between body and drinkability. The wine is crafted from grapes of different vineyards of Neive and it's produced only in great vintages. Manual harvest, fermentation with traditional 8-10 day maceration, and at least 12 months ageing in wood barrels and French oak barriques.
