In following his passion for cool-climate varieties, Ehren Jordan, an 18-year Turle Vineyards veteran, established Failla and built an outrageous portfolio of single-vineyard Pinots Noir and Chardonnays in cool-sites in California. He also dove into Oregon with the same vision. Seven Springs Vineyard, established by Al Macdonald in 1984, is an east-facing rocky volcanic site located in the heart of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. The Pacific influence through the Van Duzer Corridor cools and regulates our Pinot block, which sits at 600ft. elevation. This biodynamic vineyard is also dry- farmed. The wine is 50% whole-cluster fermented with native yeast and sees 14 months in 10% new French oak.
